January 2017

The day was actually just perfect. We didn’t put too much pressure on ourselves in the lead-up to our wedding which I think helped. The venue – Stillwater at Crittenden – was amazing. They are well-known for their weddings and it was evident why. The staff on the night were fantastic and Allison, who helped us organise the whole wedding, was spectacular and made us both feel at ease during the whole planning process.

Definitely getting to share the experience with our family and friends was a highlight. We wanted our wedding to be relaxed and fun – like a big party! As the theme was cocktail we found we were able to spend lots of time with most of our guests which was great.

Dave’s family own a property in Red Hill so we love to spend a lot of our weekends down there whenever we have the chance! We both love everything about the area and both just feel so relaxed and refreshed whenever we visit. There was never any doubt that we would get married down there – it was the natural choice to get married here.

I felt relatively relaxed but excited for most of the day however once it got to about 4pm I started to feel the nerves (our ceremony started at 5:30pm)! The nerves eventually alleviated once I had walked down the aisle and was standing up there next to Dave. From that point on we both had such a fun and amazing evening – everything was perfect!
